Good day SIGhealth Member,
We are writing to again thank all of you that attended the AMCIS 2007 SIG-Health meeting. It was a very productive meeting and we are moving forward with many initiatives. The pieces are just about in place for an informal peer review system, another special issue in a mean stream IS journal, the revision of the by-laws to align with AIS recommendations, and some additional conference opportunities.
So stay tuned. It is already time to start planning for next year’s AMCIS.
And, we are pleased to announce that Mark Gaynor will take Vance Wilson’s place as SIGhealth Conference coordinator. We welcome Mark Gaynor and thank Vance Wilson for his past service and Mark Gaynor’s message regarding next steps to plan for another successful AMCIS conference follows shortly.
