The Special Interest Group on Information Technology in Healthcare (SIG-Health) of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) will hold elections for the following officer positions on the Executive Board:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To submit a nomination, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.<\/mark><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n These positions carry a two-year term beginning August 31, 2026 and ending August 31, 2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Any member in good standing may nominate a candidate (including themselves). Nominations will be open until April 1st, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Only AIS members in good standing who have joined SIG-Health are eligible to run for office, nominate candidates, and vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Nominations and Election Committee will review all nominations and prepare the final slate of candidates. Per the Bylaws, additional nominations from members may also be accepted up to 30 days prior to the annual election. The election itself will be managed by AIS, and will commence on May 1st, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Serving as an officer is a rewarding opportunity to shape the future of health IT research, education, and practice within AIS.
