{"id":1242,"date":"2021-06-05T22:44:07","date_gmt":"2021-06-06T05:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aissighealth.com\/wordpress\/?page_id=1242"},"modified":"2025-06-01T17:07:29","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T00:07:29","slug":"best-paper-award","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.aissighealth.com\/wordpress\/best-paper-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Best Paper Award"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-red-color has-text-color\">Submission form is below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Special Interest Group on Health (SIG-Health) of the Association for Information Systems will award its annual Best Published Paper Award in 2025. There will be a Junior and a Senior award category when at least 5 submissions are received in each category. For each category, there will be a Best Paper Award and Meritorious Mention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions are due on July 31st, 2025 with the announcements of winners following soon after. At the time of the award presentation, winners need to be a AIS SIGHealth Member (only $10 for AIS members!) and be present at the AMCIS 2025 or the ICIS 2025 SIGHealth Business Meeting to receive the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible as a Junior Researcher, you need to have been a student at the time the paper was published. This has to be reflected in your affiliation. Everyone else will be considered to be a Senior Researcher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will accept journal and conference papers in English that were published and in print in 2024. They need to contain original research. Papers that are editorial comments, notes, or research-in-progress are not eligible. Conference posters are not eligible. The paper needs to have been peer-reviewed. Only one paper per first author will be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To submit a paper, create a single pdf file that contains a cover page with your contact information, the paper&#8217;s DOI or publication URL, an explanation of you status if not clear from the paper, and the published version of the paper. Do not submit proofs or drafts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Review Committee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To be announced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 the paper address a real problem?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is the problem solved or diminished?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is a significant part of an organization, population or the world impacted?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementation:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is the innovation operational?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What is the breadth of the implementation?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is the approach\/knowledge applicable to others?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appeal and Readability:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is there broad interest in the problem across industries and cultures?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Will the paper appeal to SIG-Health membership?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is the paper brief, clear, and to the
