Do you teach or are you planning a course on Health Informatics for MIS or MBA students? Are you searching for a suitable textbook for this course? You are not alone!

At every AMCIS and ICIS conference, I get dozens of requests for a text on Health Informatics. Yet, despite the massive growth in this area and ample job opportunities, there is no standard IS-oriented textbook for this emerging course in the IS curriculum.

If you are attending ICIS in Fort Worth later this month (or live nearby) you are invited to join Monica Chiarini Tremblay and me for a brainstorming discussion to help develop a new authoritative textbook for Health Informatics to be published by Prospect Press.
